Macarthur FC can confirm the departure of Socceroo Mitch Duke as he pursues an overseas opportunity. Arriving midway through the 2025/26 Isuzu UTE A-League campaign, Duke quickly became an influential figure within the squad, using his experience and leadership to help drive the club’s standards both on and off the field. Mitch Duke made 13 A-League and two AFC Champions League appearances for Macarthur FC, recording five goals and four assists. And in his short time at the club, Duke quickly adapted to life at Macarthur FC after joining mid-season, using his experience to assist the squad and mentor the team’s younger players. But away from football, Mitch always took the time to engage with supporters while also participating in Grassroots Blitz events across the Macarthur region. So Macarthur FC thanks Mitch for his outstanding contribution to the club and wishes him every success in the future. The club will surely miss his leadership and experience, but is grateful for the time he spent at Macarthur FC. Mitch Duke's departure marks the end of an era for Macarthur FC, but the club is excited to see what the future holds. With his departure, Macarthur FC will need to find a new leader to fill the void left by Duke's departure.
